What we value ...
We believe that knowing Jesus Christ and being a part of the kingdom he is building in this world changes everything – it is how we come to grips with the truth about God, how we better understand ourselves and learn to care for others, it even provides the framework from which we approach daily existence. For this reason, He is our highest value, and we seek to honor, praise and worship Him as the one who alone is worthy of worship. He alone transforms our lives, bringing restoration and healing to our relationship with God and others.
This highest value fuels and shapes others we hold. It causes us to:
• value people and relationships, and we seek to bless our community and serve those in it.
• value the truth contained in the Bible, and we seek to better understand and apply that truth in our lives and to communicate it clearly to others.
• value the beauty and diversity of Creation, and we seek to celebrate and honor the expression of that beauty through varied cultural and ethnic means such as music and the visual arts.
• value the expansion of the kingdom of God, and we seek to proclaim His worth and glory to all the nations of the earth.
